During the process of getting older, most people grow more and more cynical, calculating and emotionally numb. This song is about recognizing changes in your personality that you do not like at all. It’s about the pride and arrogance of thinking you can deal with everything because you already experienced something related before. The truth is, no matter how old you are, there will always be new circumstances you can’t handle. Either in a god or in a bad way.
